Children's Dentistry
We understand that some children (and even a few parents) may be a little apprehensive about a visit to the dentist.
Our experienced dentists know how to help children feel comfortable and relaxed whilst visiting our practice. Our dentists have young families themselves so are naturally attuned to little people and their big concerns.
Our caring dentists will spend time getting to know your child and talking to them about what will happen during the appointment. We will answer all of your questions (kids and parents), allay any concerns, and make your child's visit a pleasant and relaxed event. We want kids happy to come back to the dentist again!
Parents are always welcome to come into the treatment room, although some children are calmer and more proud of themselves when they have the opportunity to ‘do it themselves”. Either way, we are happy to accomodate whatever will make kids, Mums and Dads feel most at ease.
For parents, our dentists will always take the time to talk with you about any concerns you may have around you children’s oral health, and to explain any treatment required.
We firmly believe in preventative dental care at Nundah Family Dentists. Experience tells us that regular check ups and excellent dental care for children can eliminate more serious and costly dental interventions later in life.
